BMS 8th Grade Students Interactive Lab

Bethel Middle’s 8th grade science students recently completed an interactive lab about the dynamics of ocean upwelling and how nutrient availability and fishing near the ocean shore are affected by the process. Last year, Ms. Harrington and Mr. Hundley received the HCSF Evergreen Packaging Math and Science grant for these lab supplies, and this year’s students also gained a much deeper understanding of the upwelling process as a result.
